Cherry Hill OB/GYN offers comprehensive gynecological services including well-woman exams, PMS counseling and management, menopause management, and contraceptive counseling. We also have a comprehensive program for bladder control issues and use state of the art treatment options. Urinary Incontinence

Over 13 million American adults suffer with urinary leakage, frequency of urination, or painful urination. Many individuals are more afraid of the treatment than of living with the problem. We currently offer a behavioral treatment at our offices. 94 % of patients who have participated in this program have improved or cured. Urinary incontinence is a problem that you don’t have to live with!

There are 3 types of bladder control problems:

Stress Incontinence - leaking when you cough, sneeze, etc
Urge Incontinence - leaking urine with a strong urge to urinate
Urinary frequency without urinary leakage (overactive bladder) - urinating more than every 2 hours

A specially trained nurse provides thorough evaluation and diagnosis of your problem. The nurse works closely with you to decide your goals and plan of care. We offer many non-surgical treatment services through this program including education, bladder retraining, pelvic muscle re-education, stimulation therapy, diet modification, and when necessary, medication or surgery. These methods are effective in improving incontinence, regardless of age.
